Count me among those who thought the performance on this tour was fantastic. And yes, I was there in person, and I've listened to some 'unauthorized' recordings. The 'non-Waters' Floyd, who I paid big bucks to see twice, cannot touch this.

But am I the only one who finds the picture pixelly?

I don´t know if there is something like Anamorphic Widescreen, but there is one thing I saw one year and a half ago.

When I went to a store to buy my first DVD player, they were playing the ONE NIGHT ONLY DVD, by Bee Gees, on a lot of TV sets - four were common 4 x 3, and one was a 16 x 9 set.

Well, I noticed a very interesting thing: in ALL the monitors, the image filled the entire frame, with no cuts above or below. But on the 16 x 9, there was MORE information on the sides - literally, two backing singers (or guitar players, I don´t recall - all I know is that there were two) on the left side of the frame DIDN´T APPEARED on the 4 x 3 sets, but were completely visible on the 16 x 9!

Weird, huh?

I bought this title for my father-in-law who is a big Pink Floyd fan and was surprised when he was not overly excited when he unwrapped it. Turns out he saw the tour in Chula Vista, Ca (San Diego area) and had not been impressed at all. But, upon watching it that night on his system, he noticed right away that both the set list and the elaborate stage set-up were far superior to what he experienced live. He felt that they put on a special show for the DVD that was superior to their San Diego stop. Really enjoyed the DVD. But, one thing I was disappointed with was ther almost total lack of interaction between the band members. Seemed like they might as well have been performing in different rooms for all the attention they paid one another. Musically it was excellent.
