I was wondering about DDR RAM. Can you use DDR RAM in any machine? I ask because lately it seems that DDR is a lot cheaper than the SDRAM and if I can get away with it I would like to throw some in to beef up my memory.
Will it be a case of the better RAM slowing itself down to match the other RAM or is it completely incompatible?

You can't use it on an SDRAM motherboard.
