They look bad as hell!!!
I just went to PE web site to look for them. I can't find those all AL ones just the ones with the AL phase plug. Where can you get those?
Also PE only has them up to 4". That sux's. Do they make bigger ones? Important question is, how do they sound?
From the specs given at PE on the 4" ones (Part Number:
264-818) it looks like it is a full range speaker going from 65Hz to 20,000Hz. At $15 it might make a neato' line aray ah....
Thanks John.
Yes I have been getting our web master to take care of that also.
I have attached a responce measurement done on our W3-871S.

Is there any special reason why you chose to carry the aluminum cone drivers over the paper cone ones? I'd think the paper cones would have much smoother response.
They are paper.
Just read the data sheets on our site.
Along with that the response is the flatest out of all the 3" TB makes.
The W3-871S is no the flatest responce, highest sensitivity out of the 3"
That is why we had it made for us.
The W3-871S is the same as the W3-593S just in a round frame.

Allan,
Real interesting the WA0640A6-W. What is the difference between it and the WM0640A6-B? Also what are the power ratings for those 2 woofers? They are not listed in the descriptions. I can't tell all that well from the pic but does the WA0640A6-W have the sliver cone? Does it have the matching silver phase plug? Do you have any 6" that do?
Basically, I like the look of the W4-657S but I need a 6"
What can ya do

Here is a picture of the 6" on the clearance I just took for you.
If you want a better pic then send a email and I will send you one better quality.
The WA,WM are the front 2 drivers and the WS is the back.
Power the three of these are rated the same 70-150 watts.
My pic out of these 4 hands down the WS better cone material, if we had to order more they would be selling for $65.00 range.
A very stable cone material.
Al
Allan, Thanks for the pic. The one you recommend is the WS0640A6-W which is the greenish looking one in the back left correct? I just checked your web site and there is no info listed for that speaker (WS0640A6-W), data comming soon it says. Are you going to put some info up on it, T/S parameters, frequency graphs, etc? Also which one is your better tweeter; TS25P606, TS25P604, or the new TB28-847s ? Thanks. Chris

Chris
I have not got these sheets load as these were old models that TB no longer makes so some sheets we did not get from them till last week.
This sheet will be loaded soon.
The power handing is the higher than the others 80-160wtts. http://www.boomspeed.com/wrnch22/Specs1.jpghttp://www.boomspeed.com/wrnch22/specs2.jpg
These are the specs I have on HR drivers on clearance.
I am not getting into posting any more info on the site as we only have 6-8 of each it is not worth the time.
But those who ask I have supplied the info.
hope this helps.
The greenish speakers you spoke of are really a grey tint.

Ok......
Here is the pic that I modified of the woofers:
The WS0640A6-W, the white honey comb looking one in the back right, is the one you said has the better cone. Your site had 12 listed for quantity, but you now only have 6-8? Darn, I would need 10. Also, if all those woofers are 6" why does that one look a lot smaller?
Also, you never addressed my tweeter question, which one is your better tweeter; TS25P606, TS25P604, or the new TB28-847s ?
Thanks Allan,
-Chris
The pictures do not show the sizes correctly. I can take a few more with tape to show the sizes but if you look at the data sheet I loaded in the above post you get the OD from that. On the tweeters. They all have the good and bad points. The best out of the old ones on the clearance is the 606. Has a smoother roll over and has the DAMPING COMPOSITE MATERIAL OF FRONT PANEL WITH EVA PAD . But the 28-847S is over all the best out of them all. I will get to comparing them with cabinets in a few months time. As I am just loaded with work now.
Rick Craig is working on some designs for me using our drivers. I had just sent the baffles to him .
Al And yes you posted the correct models with the photos.
