I just made my first attempt at backing up my data using Nero. Everything went smoothly, right up until the moment Nero told me that my disk was finished and the drive ejected it.
Next, I re-inserted the disk to make sure all my stuff was on there. Upon opening My Computer, and clicking on the appropriate (D) drive, there are no files listed.
When I click Run-Browse-D:, still no files listed.
In My Computer, though, it shows 72MB of unused space on drive D, which would be correct.
When I insert the "burned" CD, a window pops open asking what I want to do with the "blank CD" I loaded.
Why are my files not being shown?
If my drive crashed, how would I go about restoring all my backed up files?
Pentium 3, Windows XP, Lite-On 40X burner, 600 mhz, 384MB RAM.
Thanks!
Jon
