Boston PV600 vs HSU stf-2 (1 Viewer)

I currently own the Boston PV600. Overall I've been happy with this sub, however, I'm curious to try something else. How do you think the hsu stf-2 would compare?

The Hsu will go much lower and much louder.

The one concern I have on the PV600 is that with real low bass, or if I try to turn it up, it starts to distort. This wasn't an issue in my old room because my daughter slept just down the hall so I couldn't turn it up. :frowning:

Now that I'm set-up in a new room, I'm curious if I can get more punch and still stay tight and clean.
