I am trying to purchase the ASUS EN6600GT/Silencer/HTD/256M video card. This is the fanless one with the fancy ASUS heat sink that swings over your CPU cooling fan.
However, this card has apparently dropped off the face of the earth as of 2/3/06. I had an order placed with Newegg and they shipped me the wrong card on 2/2/06. (They sent the standard 6600GT with a fan.) Now the card does not pop up on Newegg's or any other website for that matter. Newegg says the "item has been deactivated".
Does anybody know what is going on? Where can I buy one of these?
Is there a comparable fanless card out there that I can purchase instead? I just want to watch HDTV thru DVI output to projector while simultaneously surfing web on analog 17" monitor.
