Angel on My Shoulder (1946), which DVD version? (1 Viewer)

My sister inquired about the availability of this Paul Muni/Claude Rains film on DVD so I told her I'd check into it for her. I see that there are a few different versions.

It doesn't sound too bad PQ-wise, and it can be had for about $6.

But then there is a more recent version from Roan:

It costs more, but I can't find any reviews of it. Does anybody have this Roan version or can comment on it? If it's better, is it worth the extra expense? I know you have to be careful with these public domain titles.

I have the Alpha Video DVD and it's not bad, but it's still Public Domain. MGM/UA would have the rights to the original print
