Advice on Vid & Sound Cards (1 Viewer)

I am looking for advice on an inexpensive solution to my problem:

I have a server that is modestly set up with a 266 PII and 228 Mb RAM running 2K Adv Server. This PC currently acts as a MP3 file server and a web server. I want to be able to run the audio to my cheap AIWA receiver( AV-X200). I also want to control the PC from my couch using a wireless keyboard/mouse combo so I will need an inexpensive vid card (AGP or PCI). I have a DVD player so the PC will only be doing music output and video to the TV duties. I might want to surf the net from the couch occasionally and I might sneak a game of counter-strike in as well.

But the main thing is the price:quality. The fiancee(soon to be wife) is on a tear for paying off credit cards and stuff so any toys that I get have to be had on the cheap. And I haven't bought any toys recently and am in need of something to tinker with.
