007 Criterions with the Commentaries, how many? (1 Viewer)

Which 007 movies did Criterion put out on LD that had the commentaries on them? The ones that were later recalled?

Whats the story behind the removing of the commentaries? Anyone know the details?

The producers (Cubby Broccoli specifically, if memory serves me correctly) hated the dirt-dishing comments that Criterion had selected and production team members revealed, such as Sean Connery wouldn't do any of his own stunts, and pressurised Criterion into a recall of the CAV box sets of the three.

However, since Criterion owned the commentaries in their entirety, they made them available on audio cassette for any laserdisc owners who could only get hold of the CLV editions.

I don't think the audio cassettes were ever released.
