Anyone heard of anything about the possibility of Asheron's Call (1 or 2) for the Xbox (live naturally)? It would seem to be a natural since it's a Microsoft game and especially if Everquest Online Adventures really takes off for the PS2.

That all depends on which studio is making it. It's not really Microsoft making the games, it's a bunch of different studios which are then published by the big MS.

Some are more closely associated with MS though (such as Fever or Inside Drive) which others are obviously just published by them (Shenmue 2 and Fable).

It may not be their speciality, but they've had a hand in some rather good games over the years on the PC.

If you're looking to get cheap stuff from someone who works there, you can get anything that's distributed by MS as well (like Shenmue II). Great deal if you can get in on it.

Yep. Just found out I have a contact that works for Microsoft. Can get the games for $10 a pop.
