Xbox audio question (1 Viewer)

If I set up an Xbox with the HD adapter with optical audio going to my receiver, can I simultaneously send audio to my TV directly from the Xbox or do I have to send it out of my receiver to the TV??? I might want to use the TV's audio for playing Xbox while using the receiver to play a different source (like a music CD). Is this possible? How?

I believe the advanced and Hi Def packs offer both digital and analog audio outs. So yes you should be able to hook both up. I use digital only so I haven't actually tried it.
