Xbox One playing CD's (1 Viewer)

This question is basically for Xbox One owners or those who know.

I do not have an Xbox one but know someone who does. He is not able to play regular audio CD's. So what I am wondering is should he be able to play standard music CD's in his Xbox one? Or is there an issue with the xbox one?

I haven't actually tried with mine, but apparently there's an audio cd app required.

In order to play a non game (UHD blu-ray,blu-ray, dvd or Audio CD) you need to download the free player app from the Xbox(?) store

New users take my advice and download it before you start to download the "free" game(s) that "came" with the X-Box ONE
