Can anyone tell me if they have heard if a Special Edition is coming out and if not, who do I write to get them to do it.

Anyone else want this as much as I do?

I believe a thread has come up about this title before. Not sure who owns the rights; imdb says Embassy Pictures?

I'd also like to see this film released on DVD.

This was actually supposed to be released earlier this year, but it never happened and I never heard why. Not sure who owns it, but I would guess it'll show up sometime next year.
