What's with the ridiculous upbeat music on the new 'E.T.' tv spot!? (1 Viewer)

Now, i'm not usually one to bother with such minute things, but this new tv spot for the 'E.T.' 20th edition has me perplexed. It has this very irritating upbeat kiddie movie music in it that is completly out of place with the film, I would prefer some of John Williams classic score.

Has anyone seen this spot yet?

I've seen it, too, and it is horrible. The cheesy music, the narration and the way it's edited make it look like a disposable modern kiddie movie, not the classic that it is.
