Pre-ordered this excellent ITC police procedural series (sort of a Brit version of Naked City) from Network in the U.K....an early birthday present from myself to...myself! (This is set to release on October 11th, one day before my 54th birthday)

Will also soon be pre-ordering Kino's Kolchak: The Night Stalker, due Oct. 12th, for a birthday prezzie double-whammy.

The first pressing of the DVD set was 2006, followed by a second pressing from 2010 (which I believe is the version I have).

There are several Gideon's Way episodes (which aired in the U.S. under the title Gideon C.I.D.) available uncut on YouTube, if you want to check it out first to see if it floats your boat. Here's "The Tin God":

Must be a very popular series to now have 3 releases. Thank you. I'd never have thought to look on YT. Just downloaded each! Might I recommend you post episodes from your other favorite international series at Obscure Classic TV Shows - Post Your Favorites! and enlighten folks. Until I joined this forum I had never heard about most of those until you recommended them to me at TV DVDs unavailable in Region 1.

I might just pull the trigger on this one. The prints shown on MeTV are brutal and no doubt cut as well. How come the links for this at bluray.com goes nowhere at Amazon or eBay?

Since it's in pre-order status, it might not yet have been made available to Amazon. Also, there's a thread in the Blu-Ray section speculating on whether Amazon and Kino are having another "disagreement," as Amazon has been derelict in shipping out Kino blus in a timely manner recently.
