What would it take to blow B&W N805's ? (1 Viewer)

Ive pushed my reciever to the limit
its only a Marantz SR780..not all that much power
seems the speakers could take so much more
Might upgrade soon
how much can these things handle?

Too little power will kill a speaker before too much will. Too little power at too high a volume can cause clipping and will pop the tweeter pretty quickly.
