Well, yes, but the thread is about ones wanted on Blu-ray or 4K.

U right, but for a title done in such a poor manner by so many others, we collectors are always looking for the best current edition in PQ&AQ right? Settling on the best version, dispite the format, is reasonable...until you can pop on the upgraded edition. And as we have seen before, it may be on a BD but did they restore the film or just "drop and pop" for a fast sale? Evil folks have done this before and will again...Buyer Beware!!

The Andromeda Strain has an excellent Arrow Blu-ray release, which when I checked just now is half price at Amazon.

Richard Lester's The Three Musketeers & The Four Musketeers (1973/74) have shown up for a late April 4K release on Amazon France & Germany from Studio Canal, which is great news for me, as I love these films & the Blu-rays that were released didn't look good at all.

Criterion allegedly has the NA rights to Lester's first two Musketeers films (but not the third). Maybe by the time they have them ready for a disc release, they'll decide on a UHD release.

while we're talking about the swash buckling flicks made in the 70s... the title Musketeers prompt me to look back into remakes made in both the 90s as well as 00s...

Disney "kids friendly" remake got a FHDBD release

however, the much intense action 2001 remake made by Universal... doesn't get love? that keep them stuck in DVD format?

A forgotten film which was never well known in the first place is Fury which I'd love to have in good quality. The film, which has more than one title, stars Claudia Cardinale and Oliver Reed. I've never seen it and it's pretty much disappeared so I suspect it's not a good movie. Being a major fan of Claudia Cardinale, I want this film in my collection and I'll watch her even in bad movies.

We just watched what was Cardinale’s breakout role in Criterion’s Big Deal on Madonna Street (I Soliti Ignoti), which they’ve never upgraded to Blu-ray. The remastering on DVD certainly looked surprisingly good. I found it used at my local go to store here, had heard about it for decades and only now caught up with it. It was certainly amusing, if a bit of a let down after the reputational build up. But it’s a famous enough Italian classic comedy I’m surprised it’s never been re-released on Blu that I can tell.
