I echo The Big Lebowksi, which is running just ahead of Rushmore. Of the 2001 releases, I think Big Trouble in Little China takes the cake.

Traffic by far. Excellent movie, and everytime I talk a person into watching it and they end up loving the movie, I get a tingly feeling all over :)

Be The Last Clown?

Bitten Toes Leave Crumbs?

Bow To Lola's Crotch?

Boy's Toys Leave Crust?

Beat The Little Clown?

Buy The Last Cake?

Bomb The Limey Cu... nevermind on that one.

Brad's Totally Lost Contact?

Big Top Little Couch?

Burn The Last Church?

Big Teeth Little Chomp?

Okay, you get the idea that I have no idea what BTLC stands for.

Almost Famous - Sometimes I just let it run in the background while I am doing something else. Maybe I will get the soundtrack for Christmas, but I would probably still want to hear the movie. Oh! Well! :)

I'm just like George. I have too many on my "to be watched" list to get back to repeats. However a few sneak in when showing guests.

This years doubles

High Fidelity might have had 2.

Requiem for a Dream

Fight Club

Emporers New Groove

Swingers

all had 2 instead of 1

My all-time most replayed DVD/LD...Dazed and Confused. Constantly requested till retired for a few years of rest.

Meanwhile, watched about 400 DVD/LDs this year, including rentals. Add 40 theater trips at least. Yes, 1-2 films a day is the norm around here.

I try to mix up my viewing but this year the top 3 are in no particular order:
Shrek
Big Trouble in Little China
The Fifth Element
and to show I can't count... My Fair Lady ;)

SUPERMAN, THE PHANTOM MENACE, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE and BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN are titles I'm always watching.

Mallrats and Chasing Amy still get played every now and then ever since I bought both in November of 2000.
Runner-ups include: Almost Famous, Dark City, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

Big Trouble in Little China, Halloween, The Thing, American Werewolf in London, Animal House, Mallrats, T2, Total Recall, Fight Club, Revenge of the Nerds(!), Rocky, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter (for the love of all things good please remaster this Universal!) and Blow Out have all had over 4 views in 2001 alone. I blame it on my laziness to not want to go to the videostore and just rent a movie I haven't seen before :)

I think it's safe to say that the one movie I've watched more times than any other from beginning to end is/was Bring it On .

Cast Away, and Shrek

If you need a tie breaker, take Shrek, because as a general rule, I don't like animated movies.

I think it's a toss-up between "Toy Story 2" and "Pitch Black".

Although for my Halloween party, I put my "Boogeymen" DVD on eternal repeat play.
