Week #2 in a row of no Sunday flyer for Best Buy.

I've got a 4k of Wonder on its way to me this week. A blind buy. Not expecting a lot, but we'll see if Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts deliver the goods.

For what it's worth, Mike, I saw Wonder in theaters and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It's unabashedly sappy at times, but its Rashomon-esque framing device of multiple, overlapping narratives gives it greater narrative complexity than one might expect from the trailers. Pretty much the entire cast does great work.

I'll definitely pick it up at some point once the price comes down, but probably just the Blu-Ray since it was finished in 2K.

Thanks Mike. Nothing new for me this week, but I just came back from Target, where I picked up the Blu-ray of the original Paddington for $10. It's a gem and is worth an addition to anyone's collection, especially for that price.

I skipped Wonder in theaters because of the screenwriter, Jack Throne, whose work I cannot stand. I think he is one of the worst writers working today. But, it's certainly an impressive cast and I hope you like it.

I'll be getting Drag Me To Hell (a really underrated movie directed by Sam Raimi) and Night Of The Living Dead. I'll pick up The Silence Of The Lambs during a sale on Criterions.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Waiting on sales for Criterion titles is my usual MO, but I got lucky in which I was able to pre-order Night of the Living Dead and The Silence of the Lambs for $18.31 plus sales tax from Amazon.

I had bit the bullet on Night and ordered at the $25-ish price but then it went down to $18 so I'm getting a great deal there. I didn't get in on the low price for The Silence Of The Lambs so I'll just wait. Win some, lose some. :)

Isn't Benji still due to come out this week?

I'm a little surprised this doesn't come up more often...

Each week there are SEVERAL DOZEN...sometimes HUNDREDS of titles that don't make it into the RoundUp. I'm just not able to get every single one.

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

I predict there will be a Criterion flash sale towards the end of this month ... but I did order NOTLD for the $18.XX pricepoint from Amazon ...
In the past, the B2G1 free sale at Target.com has been good to order Criterions etc. online - some pre-orders have worked in the past - but you will need to remember that the other items won't generally ship until the release date (or slightly before) of the last item released

{edit} There are only a select number of titles in the B2G1 sale ... no Criterions, etc ... :()

Possibly Night of the Living Dead, and Threads (even more shattering than The Day After, IMHO)

I've tried several Criterion titles on Target's site and they're not taking in this latest B2G1 free sale.

I have Night of the Living Dead and Silence of the Lambs on the way for that same low price from Walmart. I had already placed my order when Amazon price matched and didn't bother to change my order.

I will pick up The Thomas Crown Affair once the price drops or Kino Lorber has a sale.

Mike, you do such a great job each and every week it's hard to believe when one isn't listed.

Mike maintaining this Weekly Roundup listing and the listing I do with Amazon Pre-Orders is very difficult now as Amazon and the rest of the retailers have made it more difficult to maintain them.

I'd forgotten that Kino had a BD release of V.I. Warshawski coming out this month. Thanks, Mike, for both the reminder and the price!
