And so the death of physically stocked in retail physical media begins for me.

The Marvels UHD not available at all in Wal Mart, Best Buy or Target anywhere around me.

WalMart brings it up, but 'out of stock' at every store.
Target brings it up but simply states 'Not sold in stores'.
Best Buy doesn't even have it in their system.

I got both of those from Barnes and Noble. 30% off MSRP for each.

I should have my 4K/UHD from Target tomorrow.

That's not much of a surprise considering we know they are on the way out of physical media. I think we've passed the point where Best Buy is interested in stocking new titles.

I just purchased the new Hunger Games movie in 4K from Target for $17.92 less .89 for my red card. For some reason it was the same price as the blu ray, but I'll take it!

I thought that Best Buy officially stopped selling physical media of any kind, except for games, last month.

Not sure of their reasoning, but it seems to be available at some Walmart stores and not others. Looking it up on their web site and "checking stores nearby," show it's available at two stores, but not at two others in my area. Unless they had just a few copies per store and it's already sold out in those "not available" stores.

Looks like a pricing error that fans of this movie that have 4K capability should jump on before they correct their error.

I checked the day of release, and it was 'out of stock' in every store in my search radius. It seems pretty clear that they had no stock at all instead of selling out. That's still the case today.

I ended up ordering it online, which sucks because I have to pay $7 shipping. Never had to do that before, when stores actually carried the product. This sucks.
