Hey guys. Could we ensure that we bring this thread to the attention of the Warner Bros reps tonight? Thanx.

Warner, I am desperately begging you guys to release a season by season set of FRIENDS. I don't understand why you won't do this. There is a great demand for this set. People are buying the "Best of Series" because that is the only thing avaiable. I personally know many people who buy the region 2 dvds so that they can have the season by season sets. So Warner, please take this into consideration. THank you.

I'll repeat:
AROUND
THE
WORLD
IN
EIGHTY
DAYS:
SPECIAL EDITION
Both the 35mm CinemaScope version and the 70mm Todd-AO 30 fps version...16x9 enhanced with DD 5.1 sound! Trailers, commentary with Mike Todd, Jr and Michael Anderson, making-of special, all the extras that can be put on it!
This movie has been treated like...well, crap. The VHS is P&S, faded, and edited for time, the LD is the same cut, the TV version is uncut...although faded and P&S!
Please release this to DVD...it needs a proper presentation finally.
Also, TECHNICOLOR dye-transfer prints of the 70mm 30fps version are around, so there's a shortcut.

A good lot of titles I want from Warner are coming out next year, but here are some others (Warner and MGM) I wish for (Some have been previously mentioned):
-"S.O.B"
-"Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird" (OAR/WIDESCREEN Special Edition, please)
-Music video compilations featuring artists who were on the Warner, Elektra and Atlantic labels from the 80s up to the early 90s (Uncut music videos, too-i.e, mini-movies and the explicit video for "Self-Control" by Laura Branigan)
-Concerts with above artists
-Widescreen comedies (The "Vacation" movies, the "Grumpy Old Men" movies, you get the picture)
-"Wise Guys"
-"Dream Lover"
-"The Hunger" SE (I think this was misfiled under MGM at dvdfile's Studio Day report. Later releases have the Turner logo on them)
-"Pennies From Heaven": SE
-SE reissue of "Night Shift" (or at the very least, commentary and a trailer)
-Uncut "Beetlejuice" SE
-Uncut Remastered "Purple Rain" SE
-Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Uncut
-"Gremlins" and "Gremlins 2" SEs (Next year, I read, or is that just a rumor)
-"So Fine"
-"Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation" (If possible, WIDESCREEN. I definitely want it as a Special Edition)
-"Fame" WIDESCREEN SE
-"Batman" and "Batman Returns" SEs
That's it for now. Do us proud, Warner!
Sincerely,
John Kilduff
