I second one of Brook's nominations: the 1933 King Kong. What in the world is holding that one up?
I predict this title won't be released until 2003, which happens to be the 70th anniversary of the film's release.

I'd purchase the following:
The Great Race
Auntie Mame
The Adventures of Robin Hood
What's Up Doc?
(All said to be coming out during 2002 - 2003 at Dave's Studio Day)
Plus
Finian's Rainbow (a commentary by Francis Ford Coppola would be welcome)
Damn Yankees
Fanny (1961 Oscar nominated best picture)

I'd love to have widescreen versions of the 4 National Lampoon's Vacation movies.
I'd also love to have Dial M for Murder in 3-D, if that's at all possible.
I really need V: the Final Battle.
Finally, I'll add enthusiastic votes for the following:
Bringing Up Baby
Clash of the Titans
Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House
My Favorite Wife
the "Twin Peaks" pilot

Warner, please consider the following, as they are the one's at the top of my list:
Frankenheimer's Grand prix (if this is a WB title)
Once upon a time in America
Where eagles dare
Wait until dark
Point blank
Also a director's cut of Payback
Clash of the titans
Ice station Zebra
Gunga din (Admittedly I haven't even seen it, but I'm very curious)
The omega man
Soylent green
Firefox
The treasure of the Sierra Madre (DVD's? We don't need no stinking DVD's!)
And of course Looney tunes. Would rereleasing the Golden age of looney tunes sets or something equal be possible?

I've heard rumors from somewhere that Ned Price and the folks at Warner were giving King Kong the full-on "Lowry Digital Images" video restoration treatment a la Citizen Kane. I can't remember the source [Addendum: I can now -- it was the DVD File Studio Day report ] and won't speculate as to a release date, but this would be pretty darn cool, especially if the technology continues to advance. Kane was fantastic, but as threads in the Software forum have pointed out, there were still a few instances of the "baby to bathwater" ratio being a bit high with the grain reduction.
Regards,

A U.S. anamorphic widescreen release (if such a print exists) of Black Christmas with commentary by director Bob Clark and any deleted scenes that are available.
A special edition of Memoirs of an Invisible Man with John Carpenter/Chevy Chase commentary and the original "The Making of Memoirs of An Invisible Man" HBO First Look featurette, as well as any deleted scenes and unused material.
Wes Craven's Deadly Friend with deleted scenes, uncut footage, and commentary by director Wes Craven and actress Kristy Swanson.
I had a couple of other ideas, but I can't think of them now.
