The Sarah Rose American Teen Princess Pageant is a beauty contest to die for! And that’s exactly what the contestants in Mount Rose, Minnesota, are doing. This films has been MIA for quite a long time. A very funny black comedy.

I liked it well enough at the time, though as a satire on beauty pageants, it can't hold a candle to Smile, which really needs a release.

I’ve been waiting for this on blu! I’ve loved this film for 20+ years now. Totally ahead of its time. Its in that mockumentary style like The Office/Parks and Rec/Modern Family/etc but a bit more dead pan and with a darker sense of humor. A major hidden gem of a comedy. Great stuff!

I can't recommend this enough. Great comedy satire. I've watched it countless times, and still laugh at it. It's my go-to film when I don't know what i want to watch, or if i just need a good laugh.
