Lawrence, yes your salesman was partly wrong. The NCAA tournament to date has not been in HDTV, but it looks like the later games will be.
Survivor has not been in HD yet.

CBS is broadcasting The Masters all four days? That's awesome! If memory serves, USA network carried the first two rounds in the past with CBS picking things up on Sat.

They considered HDTV for Survivor 2, but the problem is that they need a lot of cameras, and the cameras take a lot of abuse. To expensive to fix and replace, and no local repair for HDTV cameras at remote sites.
