Is this a Warner property or is it owned by Sony/MGM?

Would anyone else like to see this released to DVD?

It just aired this past weekend on TCM...

I'd love to see a nice DVD release of this film!

It's owned by Warner Brothers and it's a terrific film.
Cagney was a last minute replacement after Spencer Tracy left the film....

Cagney made three terrific pictures for Metro during this period. LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME, TRIBUTE TO A BAD MAN and THESE WILDER YEARS. Sadly the latter two are overlooked today.

Ironically, the title TRIBUTE TO A BAD MAN was the original, working title of THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL...
MGM didn't like the title for the 1952 Minnelli film, but thought it just fine for the 1956 Cagney western.

George Feltenstein promised several Westerns at the last Chat.
Let's hope that TRIBUTE TO A BAD MAN is among them.
Along with,
How The West Was Won, Escape From Fort Bravo, The Naked Spur(already rumoured), Westward the Women, Billy The Kid and in fact any other Classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, RKO Radio or Warner Brothers' Western from the 40s to the 60s.

I may be misremembering the anecdote, but I think Robert Osborne commented in his post-movie segment that Don Dubbins was another late replacement, for Robert Francis, who had died in a plane crash.
