Picked up Richard Fleischer's "The Vikings" last night at BB. I hadn't seen it in Widescreen since 1958. Although it's a nice transfer, it's not what you would expect from the large Technirama image. I loved the making of where Richard show's how difficult handling that 3-strip technicolor VisaVison camera was. How can anyone forget that Viking horn soundtrack and for just $9.95, thanks MGM. Now just give me "Where Eagles Dare".

I viewed this DVD and thought it was a GREAT video transfer! In fact it rivals new movies coming out on DVD.

A terrific transfer, a brilliant 30-min documentary, and the trailer.
Keep up the good work, MGM. [IMG] [IMG]
