And Donna had gotten so very many requests during her visits to have her picture taken professionally on different covers of magazines. So it was quite staggering and just plain overwhelming for Donna!

Marc (in your post 495 above), are you sure that's a publicity still for Eyes in the Night (1942)? It looks as though Donna is posing in a publicity still with the wire-haired terrier Asta for Shadow of the Thin Man (1941) in which she appeared.

Photo -Number 1- directly below, is a screen captured image with Donna Reed from the 1942 Film entitled, "Eyes In The Night" Where she plays beautiful Actress Barbara Lawry. Actress Ann Harding who has her back turned in this photo plays the Stepmother in this particular film who is accused of killing Barbara's Lover.


There's also a very talented German Shepherd in this movie (pictured below in photo -Number 2- who is posing with Donna Reed) that portrayed the character named, Friday, who is the sidekick to the astute sightless detective, Maclain, in which they solved cases together. This dog, Friday, was able to open windows, uncover evidence and defend his master. In this particular movie the two of them followed a twisted trail of malice and deceit leading to the ruthless conspirators perfectly willing to commit murder to achieve their ends.

Well folks, I mistakenly added a corrupt program to my PC with the hopes that it would help my computer run better. I quickly ripped the program out of my computer, but it unfortunately left a trail of damage to the operations of my PC. So at the moment this page works the best, but everything else is all screwed up on my computer! Donna and myself may or may not come back depending on what happens with my computer's operating system. I'll see if I can leave a few more photos with you before I enter into the Twilight Zone. lol
