Streaming Preamp (1 Viewer)

I have an older Amplifier with just RCA inputs. I want to utilize it for a room for just audio playback. Would a streaming preamp such as a Yamaha WXC 50 be a good option?

The Yamaha is a wi-fi device for multi-room applications. If you’re only interested in a single room, a good Bluetooth receiver may be all you need. The Audioengine B1, Avantree Certified aptX HD, Auris Blume HD, and BluDento Bluetooth Music Receiver all seem to get good reviews.

How is sound quality of Bluetooth receiver? I and still a purist thinking you get better results with wires. My thinking is to rejuvenate and repurpose an old Mac Mini to a media hub by converting 3.5mmaudio out to RCA
