I have a Panasonic SA=HA100 receiver. I am currently running a Kenwood Graphic Equalizer GE-7030. I recently purchased a Sony Minidisk player/recorder. After carefully setting everything up I cant get any audio from the minidisk player. I tried to connect it through the EQ's in/out, no joy. I even went as far as connecting it straight to the receivers tape in/out, no joy. I am 98% sure it is something I am doing due to the fact that this is the third minidisk player I have purchased over the years with the same results. I even tried to record to new blank disk thinking there maybe a problem with the recording format. Has anyone else encountered this before? any advice would be much appreciated. Also would it be possible to make the minidisk player work by going through a preamp?
lastly I even tried to connect the minidisk to the phono inputs and no joy. Sorry for the long post, but thanks in advance.

Just to point out the basics. The output from the MiniDisc connects to the input on the receiver. It goes Out to In, and In to Out. Since you say this has happened with three MiniDisc players, I just thought I'd be certain.
