If none of you guys had The Call of the Wild ether, then maybe Deadline got it wrong and Disney required Onward as the third trailer from their studio. That would make more sense than all of these theaters declining to show Call of the Wild when it will cost them an additional 5% of the gross to omit it.

We also had a bunch from other studios -- including No Time to Die twice -- but I paid particular attention to the Disney ones as a result of reading that requirement from Deadline.

"Call of The Wild" fronted my viewing of "The Rise of Skywalker". I also think "Onward" was on there, along with "No Time to Die". There were a couple of others but i cannot remember what they were.

My ranking for these films would be:
1) Star Wars IV: A New Hope
2) Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back
3) Star Wars 3.5: Rogue 1
4) Star Wars VI: The Return of The Jedi
5) Solo
6) Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace
7) Star Wars II: Attack of The Clones
8) Star Wars III: The Revenge of The Sith
9) Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker
10) Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens
11) Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

For TV shows:

1) Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Lucasfilm version)
2) The Mandalorian

I have not seen the other animated SW series so I cannot comment on them.

Edit: Fixed attribution mistake. Changed Disney to Lucasfilm.

Pretty easy and firm rankings, except the ROTJ/TROS/Solo grouping is a bit of a toss up. Those may switch among themselves depending on the day and how I feel. Also probably need to see TROS more times and give it all a few years.

I'm not big on ranking and I think the original, prequel and Disney movies are so different from each other (due to the technology and the folks involved) that I don't really like to compare them all to each other so I'll break it down into three separate categories.

A New Hope
The Empire Strikes Back
Return Of The Jedi

Revenge Of The Sith
The Phantom Menace
Attack Of The Clones

The Last Jedi
Rogue One
The Force Awakens
The Rise Of Skywalker
Solo

For the record, I really enjoy all of the movies even if they land on the bottom. Also, ask me in 10 minutes and my ranking might be totally different.

FWIW, there is no “Disney version” of Clone Wars; both the hand animated and CGI versions were produced when Lucas owned the company.

Has anyone here seen The Rise Of Skywalker in 3D? I saw The Force Awakens & Last Jedi in IMAX 3D and enjoyed it.

We saw in IMAX 2D & Dolby Cinema last weekend BUT I feel like I need to see in 3D to complete myself :) :)

One 3D review said it was just 'ok' in 3D.

Thoughts?

I screened it in IMAX 3D and thought it was good, but I never found myself thinking "Wow, that is spectacular 3D!" I'll be seeing it again next week, and will see it flat this time.

I watched the movie twice on Thursday night in a Dolby Atmos 70' screen theater. Then I watched it both in a Dolby Cinema and in 3-D IMAX theater on Friday and Sunday respectfully so I was able to concentrate more on the theater presentation because I knew the movie. IMO, I thought the 3-D was really good. It's not as good as "Gravity" or "The Walk", but I'm happy I did watch it in 3-D IMAX.

Thx Guys! Our first time was in IMAX 2D, was GREAT. Then the next day in Dolby Cinema.

So now just need to see in IMAX 3D to finish it off!

Really enjoying the soundtrack too. Not a lot of new material like there was for Force Awakens but still very good. Love the track ; The Rise of Skywalker. Track #3. That seems to be present in other tracks as well.
