I have a JBL 2600 that I purchased probably in the late 80's. This is a mid-size, with a 6" woofer and a 1" titanium tweeter, a front port, and oak veneer. I've always thought it was a pretty good little speaker, although not near as good as it's bigger brother, which I also have a pair of, the 2800's.
Anyway, the part of the roll surround around the woofer has come apart and is rattling. Otherwise the speaker looks perfectly new. Can this be repaired?
I'm using these as mains in my bedroom theater experience.
