Sony Setup Help... (1 Viewer)

Hello and thank you in advance for any help you might be able to share. Currently setting up a home cinema which combines

55" Bravia EX500
HTCT100 Sony Sound Bar
400ES Home Theater Receiver
BDPN460 BluRay Player

I need some advice on how to connect my components together.
Do I connect everything to the receiver then output to the TV
or do I hook everything up to the receiver excluding the sub base then output to the sub base then to the TV. I've attached the diagram for the Sound Bar's Sub base and the receiver.

I don't think you can get there from here.

The HTCT100 Sony Sound Bar is not designed to be used with a reciever. You need to either get a proper 5.1 (or 7.1) speaker package for your receiver and ditch the sound bar or ditch the recevier and plug into the Sound Bar only. Are these components new? Can you return them (or any of them)? Who sold them to you? It makes no sense to get the Sound Bar and a Receiver.
