Looking through some JavaScript recently I saw the condition:

if (document.all) {code to move around image source, etc.}

What does this check for? That there is a document to reference image work to at all?

How would there not be a document if the code were running?

Cheers

I think it is checking if the browser is IE4 and above or not.
You would do a if(document.Layers) to check for netscape.
