Should I mount new JBL S36II's with tweeter/midrange or woofer next to wall? (1 Viewer)

I will have to mount these on the rear sidewalls in the corner 7ft high. They will be an inch or two from the back wall, angled down. The room is 23'x18'x14'(LxWxH). I thought mounting the tweeter/midrange nearest the back wall would be best so as to get some acoustic play off the back wall. Any other suggestions or theories?

No suggestions or theories but I have my S36II's between 5 and 6 feet off the floor with the midrange/tweeter about 10 inches from the backwall. I only used the mounting holes which makes them flush against the wall and slightly angled down.

Sounds good to me:)

Brian: At ten inches, do you think the back wall provides any acoustic advantage?
