Should I go with a high end sound bar and put my Pioneer VSX-1021-K? (1 Viewer)

I recently upgraded our Samsung TV and Dish set-top box. While my old Pioneer VSX-1021-Krecv/amp driving a Bose surround sound system, still works fine, the system is a couple decades old. One problem is I'd like to add a keyboard to make text entry easier... such as needed when doing a search for a particular Amazon Prime series. While the VSX-1021-K has a front-panel USB port it seems to be limited to iPad and perhaps old BlueRay disks.

My guess is most folks are using sound bars, which might be easier to use.
