Sharp VCR's any good? (1 Viewer)

I need to get a new vcr to play my vast vhs collection and am looking at a sharp model. Are sharp any good in terms of qualty and reliabilty?

I own a Sharp, Sony, JVC (S-VHS 5000 series), JVC (S-VHS 7000 series). For the first three units, I paid around $300 (Cdn) including taxes, each. The 7000 series was $500 including taxes.
In regular VHS SP mode, the Sharp bites in a big way. Using a 20" Toshiba flat-tube TV you can really distinguish the difference between each player with Sharp at the lowest end, then Sony (by far), then the 5000 series (better than Sony but not by much), and the best is the 7000 series, even better than the 5000 series.
As far as reliability goes, I think every major brands are approximately the same.
