Just received this today, and the back states that it has been formatted to fit the screen. After checking on IMDB, i saw that the original ratio was 1:37:1. Isn't this full-screen? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

This is the Lugosi picture, right? It should be full-screen (approx 1.37), sounds like there is simply a typo on the packaging.

It is indeed the Lugosi pic. I notice that certain studios (MGM comes to find) always assume a film has been formatted, even if it was filmed in that ratio (just look at their Midnight Movies line-most of those films have error ratios listed).
