Hey anyone that knows about this stuff!

I have one of these http://www.powervar.com/english/pdf/.../ABC202-11.pdf that a friend of mine gave me and was wondering if it is somthing i should use with my ht equipment. Is it safe? is it worth using? Currently I have everything hooked up to a decent surge protector.

Its power rating is only 240VA so I'd use it for your DVD player only.

This is an isolation transformer based device that is manufactured by Powervar for use with computers. Doesn't mean you couldn't use it with something that consumed a small amount of electricity but you're better off plugging all your HT equipment into one unit.
