Potential problem with Grandview Screen. Advice needed (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone!


I hope you are all well? This is my first post. I a very new to projector systems but here is my dilemma...


I purchased a Grandview CB-Sxx screen from a supplier in the UK. When I mounted it and pulled down the screen for the first time I noticed rippling along the top of the screen (see photo).


I really need to know is this normal and will the rippling go after the screen has been hung down for a while or do you think I should contact the supplier for a replacement. I will be getting a projector this week so have no way of testing it as of yet. I was disappointed when I saw this potential problem as I expected it to be as flat as a pancake especially after how much I paid for it - £275!!! When I project the image will it be in any way distorted?


The rippling looks much worse than the photo suggests by the way!


Anyway guys I would appreciate your advice,

My Screen Researsch, at 10x what you paid, was flat after 5 minutes of hanging.

If it has ripples in an hour(is that long enough for Grandview/Elite/Mustang/Favi?) after being hung. Get another one.
