please help with surround sound speakers (1 Viewer)

hi everybody,
my problem is,i have 1 satelite receiver in the living room that runs dish in my bedroom,i recently bought a surround dvd player for the bedroom(philips dvd and philips plasma tv),i can only get surround sound in the living room and i cant get surround sound through my dvd player via tv in the bedroom,all i get is surround sound when i play dvd's,i called dish network and they told me i need another receiver box for the bedroom,i just wondered if there was any other way of achieving surround sound through my tv with out purchasing another satelite receiver box.

No, sorry they told you right. You will need another satelite receiver, and an HD one at that. That is the best, most cost efficient, and simplest way to acheive what you are asking.
