I use the Fellowes P600C-2, and it works great. It isn't a huge industrial one, but it has it's own paper catcher and has no problem shredding a ton of paper for a long time. Two pieces of paper is good, any more and it slows down.

For maximum security, get a cross-cut shredding model (makes little confetti instead of strips).

I have a fairly cheap ($50-$60) crosscut shredder from Sam's Club called made by Royal. It sits on it's own little waste paper basket and it says 6x on it. I think thats how many sheets it can do at once but I don't remember for sure as I've had it for quite awhile. It does a great job on paper and has handled hard use around here, but what I really found impressive is that I can stick my expired credit cards in there and it eats them right up. :)

Walt what model is it? I'm looking for a crosscut one that does credit cards as well.

I think I have it's little brother. :D It's also a Royal cross-cut with a little waste basket, but it only takes 2-3 sheets at a time.
