New TV Suggestions (1 Viewer)

I am in the market for an HDTV, I only have $500 max to spend and the TV must be atleast 27". I have been looking at this TV:http://www.sanyo.com/entertainment/t...productID=1240 ,Is this a good option? I am only looking to use the tv for playing my Xbox 360 and watching movies on. I would really appretiate any help,Thanks in advance.

I have one question, I have heard that if i play video games on this TV it might burn-in, Is this true?

CRTs are subject to burn-in, as are plasma when used with any of these kinds of material. Stock tickers, games, and constant use of closed captioning.

So, yes, it is true. I would suggest that you save up another $175, and get the Ilo 26 inch widescreen LCD, that rated well by Consumer Reports.

Or, if you really want a 27 inch, and a better known brand, the Westinghouse LTV-27W2 is a good choice, however it will run you $713 delivered from a popular, but not necesarily authorized source.
