Damn, that is going to be another tough one to beat for other Sub manufacturers. Ultra driver, 500watt Bash amp, ready to go for $1100. Would be hard to choose between that and the PB2+ though... IF I were to choose between the two though, I'd opt for the powered Ultra. The PB2+, IMO, looks cheap/cheesy with that finish...saying nothing about the performance.

Looks aside,

What will be the performance and sound quality differences between this and the PB1+?

I may be getting a new sub soon, and so far the PB2-ISD, PB2+, PB1+, 2039PC+, and now the PC Ultra are all in the running. The PB2+ is more than I want to spend, though.

Biggest reason I'm including the PB1+ is WAF.

Hi Jason,

from all Sub's in the SVS range, the PB-1+ has to me the highest WAF at all. That's why I ordered two of them right away, even before they were officially enounced

If the cabinet, they used, would be a little less high, they would be just perfect for any living room. However, that may have been a sonical decision to keep them the same height as the PB2-Ultra model for lower adjustment abilities.

Can't wait to get these babies in my home.
