Hi all. I am new here and am a complete beginner when it comes to audio setup. I bought the SA-WM40 last week but got no instruction manual with it. I have the Sony MHC-S9D Hifi system with dvd/cd player connected to the subwoofer. So my question is- at what levels should the controls on the SA-WM40 be at and is there any adjustments on the hifi that I should make. Thanks a million for any help that can be given and don't forget, I am a complete beginner!!!!

The only way to definitively set the sub's level is with an SPL meter and test tones either from the receiver or from a disc with calibration tones. Consider doing a search for "sub calibration" and/or "SPL meter".
