For Christmas my dad got a Sony surround sound system. Before that, he had a fairly new 25 disk cd changer hooked up to some VERY old speakers. I haven't really looked at the back of the surround sound center unit, but my brother-in-law hooked it up and said there wasn't any way to hook up the cd player to it. How can I plug the 25 disk changer into the surround sound so it'll play off of the surround sound speakers?

Thanks

You should be able to hook it up to any of the inputs on the back of the receiver, unless this surround system you're talking about is some kind of DVD/receiver combo unit that doesn't have any inputs, in which case your brother-in-law is right.

Look for RCA jacks (red and white) on the back (or front) of the unit.
