Somtime last year, a thread started up with the hopes that this animated feature would see a DVD release.

Now, I have yet to see an announcement, nor heard anyone bring it up, yet I hold in my hands a DVD copy.

So, for those of you that know of it's release... sorry to waste your bandwidth...

But, for those of you looking for this and didn't know that it had gotten a release, here is the info.

Disc has been released by GOODTIMES.

    Disc contains:

A History of Magoo in Film and TV

    Biographies of Voice Talent

Career retro of composer Jule Styne & lyricist Bob Merrill

    Original Movie Poster

    Magoo Short:Magoo Meets McBoing Boing.

I found this title at FYE during the Christmas holidays for around $10-ish. My son sorta enjoyed it, but wasn't able to sit through the whole thing. He liked the short with the baby, though. [IMG]

I dont wanna hijack your thread but Goodtimes is really rotten about getting release information out. I wouldnt have know about the widescreen release of Airport if it were not for HTF and the like. According to the Image database (www.image-entertainment.com), Magoo came out 10/23/01. Goodtimes webpage is currently under construction, however, it wasnt updated on a regular basis anyway. [IMG]

    Dugger,
    Where 'ya been?
It came out last October or November.
    Snatched it up right away.

It was quite a shock to see it available.
For the past 2 years I had been after Paramount
about it. It was their title for quite some time.
I had no idea the rights were sold to GoodTimes.
Though the video quality is nothing to write
home about, it is at least good to finally have
    this on DVD.
