Our Victorian is being painted so many mornings we are woken up by the painters. This morning we were surprised to find it overcast with no painters in site.
For over 2 hours it sounded like people were moving furniture on the 2nd floor....huge things that made the 1896 beams rattle. Wondering what was going on I called the lady who lives up stairs....nobody is home and the sounds stop .....not a peep. On top off that while the sounds were being made there was never footsteps, voices nothing else to go along with the noises which sounds like things being moved on bare wood....except it's wall to wall carpeting.
No moving vans outside nothing.
My wife has heard it before with the same results - the lady is never home and nothing has been moved...
