Hello, I'm new here. I'm currently in the process of creating a mancave type area in my garage. Nothing fancy, just a place where I can watch the game, listen to music while in my own area. I'm utilizing items that I've had a few years that were just sitting around unused. I'm trying to keep things off the floor, since it's still being used as a garage. I've wall mounted the TV, installed a shelf were my AV receiver sits and installed speakers in the ceiling. All of this is great, but I'm lacking a bit of the low end of sound. I was thinking of adding the home theater subwoofer that I have just laying around collecting dust, but I'm not sure where to put it. I can't put it on the garage floor and it's a little bulky to put it on a shelf, but that is still a possibility. I've been toying around with the idea of putting it in the attic above the garage with it ported to a grille/grate. Does anyone have thoughts/ideas they would like to share? TIA

If you mounted speakers in the ceiling they're probably not full range. This explains the lack of bass frequencies.
