Just about sold on a new 55" Mitsu Diamond. For me the picture quality is lust worthy. Im just curious as to the reputation of the Mitsu's. Any thoughts ? Should I steer clear ? Any customer feedback, etc, would be apprecaited.

Mits have very good reputations. At my local A/V store (Bjorn's) the salesmen favor them over just about everything.

I'm new to the HT world. I just took posession of my 1st RPTV, a Mits Diamond WS-55813. I am extremely happy w/ the purchase. Picture was awsome right out of the box, well that is after I turnd down the contrast setting. I am getting myself a copy of the DVE calibration dvd today. I plan to repost tonight w/ my tweaking results. Wish me luck

I have had my 55" for a little over a year. I love it. Make sure you get a calibration disc, it is well worth it. I think the picture is great.
