Missing part from stereo TV speakers (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I got these 2 speakers from a friend who left town. They have no brand on it nor any kind of code that can help me figure it out.
I tried to plug them (red and yellow plug) in my TV with a SCART adapter but it didn't work.
I assume I need some additional piece (maybe some kind of central controller?) but I am not an expert in these kind of things so I wouldn't know where to start looking for buying it.
Does anyone know

We’ll need a picture of the back of the speakers, and one of the SCART adapter (or even better, a link to that adapter.)

That's just a bracket to hang the speaker from.

My best guess is those are basic, passive speakers with RCA connections. They didn't work with the output from the TV because it isn't amplified. So, you'd need a simple amplifier and to adapt the RCA connections to bare wire. That's my guess, anyway.
